Our students take college-prep core courses taught from a biblical worldview. Advanced Placement, Honor, and Dual Enrollment courses are available to students who meet the requirements. Our curriculum more than meets the rigor standards for the HOPE scholarship as well as many other merit-based scholarships. Through our online learning lab and internship program, students are prepared for college-type learning platforms. Electives are offered to give students the opportunities to explore areas of interest or places where God may have uniquely gifted them with talents and abilities.
We encourage our high schoolers to step into the leadership roles that their age affords. Leadership opportunities are offered through National Honor Society, FCA, Pep Club, and various other clubs and activities. Local service projects help students find their unique areas of ministry. Students may participate in interscholastic, athletic, and arts events through the Georgia High School Association (GHSA).
These things all take place within a Community of Trust, where students are given real responsibilities and teachers desire genuine fellowship and relationship with their students. Our ultimate goal is that graduates of CHS will be prepared not only with the knowledge presented in high school, but also with the 21st century skills of Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Creativity that will allow them to be successful and to bear influence in whatever context they may find themselves.
