Q:  When can my family visit Christian Heritage School?

A:  A campus visit is not required, but highly encouraged.  It allows you to see firsthand what CHS has to offer.  Our Open House dates are posted under the Admission Date tab.  The admission office is happy to schedule a tour anytime during the school year if you would like another visit.

Q:  When can I apply?

A:  You can apply as early as November for the following academic year.   Our priority deadline is March 1st; however, we are able to accept completed applications submitted after the priority deadline on a rolling basis as space remains available.

Q:  What is the first step in the admission process?

A:  Fill out our online application and submit the $100.00 non-refundable fee at the completion of the application.  This is an online debit or credit card payment.

Q:  What testing is required for admission?

A:  All applicants are required to take an admission assessment.  All tests will be administered at CHS, although testing registration and fees must be completed online at www.erblearn.org.  The school code number to register for the test will be available from the Director of Admission.  Testing dates are posted under the Admission Dates tab.

Q:  What is the current tuition at CHS?

Q:  Is financial assistance available?

A:  Yes.  We offer needs-based financial aid to applicants who qualify.

Q:  Does CHS offer merit or athletic scholarships?

A:  No. Christian Heritage School does not offer merit or athletic scholarships.  We do not offer scholarships on the basis of athletic ability or talent.  All financial assistance is need-based only.

Q:  What transportation is available?

A: Currently transportation services are offered for our students that reside in the Gordon County area. We are planning on expanding these services to include other surrounding counties in the near future.

Q:  Do you have an after-school program?

A:  Yes.  We have an after- school care program for students in grades K-5 that is available at an additional charge.

Q:  Is there a uniform policy?

A:  Yes.  All students in grades K-12 are required to wear uniforms.

Q:  Do you have a pre-kindergarten program?

A:  No.  At this time, CHS does not offer pre-k.

Q:  How old does my child have to be to enter Kindergarten?

A:  Your child must be 5 years old on or before September 1st of the school year in which he or she is applying.

Q:  What happens if my child is on the waitlist?

A:  If CHS does not have space for qualified applicants, they may be placed on a waitlist.  Please keep in touch with the admissions office. You will be notified as soon as space becomes available.

Q:  What are the school day hours?

A:  Lower, Middle and Upper School (K-12)  M, T, TH, F  8:00am-3:20pm.  Wednesdays are late-start days with school beginning at 9:00am and ending at 3:20pm.  The doors open EVERY day at 7:30am.
